Incident Response
Having provided on-site support at over 50 incidents across six continents across a range of capacities and functions, Marittima has many years of experience in dealing with the complex environmental, social and governance issues that interplay during a marine incident and its response.
There is a growing demand to monitor and report on the impact of a marine incident and and its response on environmental, social and governance-related systems – or indeed how these systems may impact the effectiveness and costs of a response. Marittima has been an early adviser on the development and adoption of systematic frameworks that are consistent with corporate sustainability requirements yet accommodate the unique and unplanned nature of marine incidents. We have developed a practical framework that addresses all of the necessary sustainability components that one may encounter on a casualty, not all of which will apply in every case.
